stupid

There were massive amounts of stupid today. And it was really super busy.

The truck driver for grocery didn't get it. I explained how to put the pallets in and which side to face which way (pallets are rectangles) and he had to keep asking me which way was which over and over. He also had some deli and some frozen on his truck so I showed him where to put the meat stuff. I said, last cooler, the one at the very end. And he stared down the hall for a while and asked where he was supposed to put it. Uh... in the cooler at the end? Like I just said. I showed him where frozen went. So after he put the first one away he asked me where this other frozen went. Same place. Idiot.

Then we couldn't find the driver for produce, he was going to go sleep. Apparently this meant that he was going to go home. He called him. Nothing. Finally they sent someone else to come back the truck into the bay. He'd gotten there around 7 and we didn't hear or see him until 1:30.

I had to deal with the sparkling water woman again. I asked her if she'd talked to Zhaun and she gave me this utterly blank stare as if she had no idea what a grocery manager was. Uhm, I told her last time I saw her to talk to him and that I don't know about grocery. She told me to leave a note for night crew to set some aside so I told her that there might not be any back there. She gave me another blank stare that had hints of "omg are you a retard?" in it and she said, "Are you going to forget to leave the note?!?" You know, I almost did on purpose, but she's kinda scary and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she hauled off and smacked someone one of these days. If she doesn't want to special order and she doesn't want to talk to Zhaun, then oh well. Come to think of it I don't know if we even carry that product. If you're that incredibly desperate for sparkling water that you have been in "every day" for the last several months (has to be at least five or six by now since I first saw her) then let me draw you a map to Wal-Mart. I'll even draw a map of their store showing you where their water is. I mean, seriously, there is another grocery store next to ours. And another down the street, and another down the other way down the street. Instead of attacking the employees of one single store why don't you just go somewhere else? And quit singling me out and just call Zhaun. I can't wait till I never have to see her giving me a look like she's the most intelligent person ever and I'm a retarded 2-year-old.

I was on the phone for a half hour or so trying to get credit for that sour cream. They said I can't get credit  because of how long it's been since the load was delivered. Which isn't fair. The truck paperwork shows the 31st but the load came in on the 1st, the ESI's were down from the 1st-3rd, and we didn't even discover the issue until the 3rd. So we can't get credit. Not that it matters since it's under 150 dollars anyway! Like anyone ever has that much bad at one time.

Then I was filling yogurt and Anthony from up front came back to check on the yoplait cause the customer said it was buy 12 and get a coupon for 1.50 off your next order but it didn't show up. So I said to ask Virginia and he said for ME to do it. Um, sure... so I walked the entire store and tried calling Anthony three times and I finally walked up front said that the gun says that it's not on (cause the tag it wanted me to print when I scanned it was not that sale tag) and he was all, "Really? I printed one out 5 minutes ago for him." So why not call me and tell me nevermind!!!! IDIOT. I still don't know what was going on with it cause I never asked Virgina. Whatever, if he got one to print I don't care.

btw, I'll be out of yoplait by tomorrow afternoon. Yes, every single cup of yogurt of yoplait. Thanks you greedy people! I will be in so much trouble because every one of you had to buy 20 cups each. It's like everyone woke up this morning and went, "Gee I need to buy 10-30 cups of yogurt." I hope you enjoy every last drop of that. They probably sit there giggling to themselves over how they probably got someone fired over their greed.

Also we had a CAO Audit today so I was 40 minutes late leaving cause I was trying to prepare for it when they called me to check for a while and then I couldn't leave until I was done getting ready for the Audit.
