Work's been fairly good I guess. I had a bad sinus headache on Thursday. Pulled a muscle on Wednesday.
I work mostly 8-4s next week and my only day off is Tuesday. Because of caselot. I guess if we're not horribly busy I'll try to cut out early some of those days if there's nothing to do. We'll see. I hate coming in after my morning orders go out cause I sometimes forget to do them. I didn't do the juice or egg order for yesterday because I forgot on Thursday and didn't go in until four hours after they sent out on Friday. If I really need eggs for Wednesday I can email Terrie and get some. I'll see tomorrow. Latest I think she can get them for me is Monday.
Anita fed me to the wolves yesterday. She came and got me to answer a question about a wall deli product. I told her it wasn't my product, I didn't know anything about it. And she said she didn't either and left. Thanks! So I told the customer I had no idea cause it wasn't mine and she said she'd ask up front. -_- Oh, yeah, they'd know. Of course the people who are chained to the checkstands would know about anything that goes on outside their little boxes. Idiot. So I told her to call Darby, who works overnight. Honestly. "I'll ask up front, they'd know." The only people in the store who know less about what goes on are the baggers. Ask a checker about this product and they'd go, "Oh, I don't know, let me call Barb" and we'd be back at the beginning again.
Deli/dairy/meat/produce truck didn't show up last night, and he wasn't going to until 8:00 because he broke down. This is perfectly ok with me.
btw, Behind These Hazel Eyes plays at work sometimes and a long time ago I came up with this that I sometimes sing along with it:
Now all that's left of me
Is what I pretend to be
So together, but so broken up inside
'Cause I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hangin' on
Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
I just want to go home
Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Here at this job I hate
