As soon as I got to work the truck was there with grocery. I ignored him until about 8 when Zhaun told me I had to get him in. I had gotten pretty far by then. I had faced. And I put out the cottage cheese I'd hidden yesterday so I'd still have some today. We sold cottage cheese like insane on Friday. I sold 79 of just the regular! My usual sales when it's on sale are about 30-45 a day. I'd also hidden some 2% half gallons, which I put out around 11:30.
When I left corporate still hadn't shown up. I figured they'd skip either today or tomorrow. They would never come visiting two days in a row.
Oh, and about yesterday's post, I would never really crush someone's bread because they, for whatever reason, chose to put it first.
And I realize now that a child would not be reading the word "tree" in a book as there would be no more books.
Bret was rampaging around, but all I got was a "your department looks better than most the rest", so yay me.
I go in at 6 tomorrow and Zhaun wants me to face, fill holes, and break down the milk load. I also have to do three orders. So basically he wants me to work 5 hours tomorrow??? We'll see what I feel like doing and what absolutely needs to be done.
I just have to remind myself, overtime is the path to tons of money.
I forgot to say that on Friday I wound up splattering soy milk on my clothes and hair.
I had a horrible customer while doing yogurt today. I was putting out a few cases of things we really needed and he came up and took some. So while he was deciding what else to get I reached in front of him and faced. He took again. I faced again. He took. I faced. He took. I faced. You'd think he'd get the hint at some point to stop being such a jerk and pull the yogurt forwards himself!
